Definitions - Condition of Items
While we do carry new with tags and never worn items; most of the items we sell are gently preloved in a variety of conditions. Each piece has been cared for and sourced as per quality standards with every effort to clean, examine and restore items to their original beauty if required.
This helpful guide helps us identify the condition of the items listed with details to be outlined in detail in each posting with a variety of photos. The following are some terms that you will notice throughout the site to explain current state of listed products.
BNIB
(Brand New in Box): BNIB means an item has never been used and it's being sold in its original box.
BNIP
(Brand New in Package): BNIP means the same thing as BNIB, except the packaging referenced probably, isn't a box.
BNNW
(Brand New, Never Worn): BNNW typically refers to apparel or accessories, such as clothing, shoes, or hats. The piece may or may not still have its retail tags.
BNWT
(Brand New with Tags): BNWT means that an item is new (unused or unworn) and still has the price or manufacturer's tags attached.
NWT
New with tags, never washed or worn; no flaws
NWOT
New without tags, never washed or worn; no flaws
LIKE NEW
Appears new, no signs of wear; washed and possibly worn; no flaws
EXCELLENT
Previously worn, with only very slight wash wear; no flaws
VERY GOOD
Previously worn with moderate wash wear/fade, but no visible flaws
GOOD/PLAY
Previously worn with minor visible flaw(s), and/or significant wash wear/fade
FAIR
Previously worn with significant visible flaw(s), and/or heavy wash wear/fade
POOR
Not wearable, has severe flaws/damage, but with desireable useable element(s)
